Collection: Porites (Jewel Corals)
Porites, a Genus of Jewel Corals, exhibit striking and vibrant colors, yet they are relatively less favored among small polyp stony corals (SPS). These corals are not commonly found in reef aquarium hobbies, adding to their rarity. Typically, Porites grow finger-like structures from a solid and expansive base, displaying a diverse array of colors. Interestingly, these corals are seldom referred to by their common name, "jewel coral," as their scientific name has become more commonly used and recognized.
