Soft Corals
Soft corals are a type of coral that do not have a hard, stony skeleton like SPS and LPS corals. They have soft, flexible bodies and are known for their colorful and often intricate appearance.
In terms of care, soft corals are generally considered easier to maintain compared to SPS and LPS corals, and can tolerate a wider range of water parameters. They can tolerate lower light levels and less stable water conditions, and do not require as much calcium and alkalinity supplementation as stony corals. However, they still require proper water flow and quality, as well as regular feeding and maintenance to ensure their health and growth.
Soft corals are a popular choice for home aquariums due to their unique appearance, ease of care, and ability to grow relatively quickly.
