Collection: Lobophyllia (Brain Coral)
Lobophyllia is a genus of large polyp stony (LPS) coral that is popular in the aquarium hobby due to its striking appearance and ease of care. They are often referred to as brain corals due to their distinctive bumpy or convoluted appearance.
Lobophyllia corals are known to be aggressive towards neighboring corals, so it is important to give them plenty of space in the aquarium. They will readily consume a variety of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood.
